In 2015, the first low Iron U-profile glass production line was established in Zhengtai Science and Technology Pioneer Park in Chiping, Shandong， which serves as the production base of Chicheng Glass Materials Co., Ltd. Using Siemens technology and Danfoss control system, the U-profile glass production line independently developed was established in CChina.Through various tests, the Chicheng U-profile glass has a light transmittance of over 90%. Chicheng is one of the leading manufacturers specializing in the production of low iron U-profile glass in domestic. According to market demand, the company has developed a painted U-profile glass, which makes the U-profile glass colorful. In the same year, in order to meet the needs of foreign markets, Chicheng had carried out the development and production of wired U-profile glass.
The safety of U-profile glass has always been a concern of our customers. In order to solve this problem, Chicheng had carried out experiments on major domestic tempering furnace to obtained relevant data and customized a 9-meter eddy current tempering furnace according to actual conditions, completely solve the key problems of heating and cooling. The horizontal deformation and side deformation are under 0.05 ‰. The manufacturing yield is 98%. And the batch production of tempered U-profile glass up to 8 meters is realized.
In 2017, Chicheng and U Solar New Energy Co., Ltd. carried out research and development of U-profile glass photovoltaic power generation system, making it be one of the standard components of green building. Chicheng U-profile glass photovoltaic power generation system has been used in Poverty Alleviation Project of Photovoltaic Power Generation in Guizhou and LAFAYETTE148 NEW YORK Shantou company. Chicheng U-profile glass photovoltaic power generation system makes buildings more energy saving.
In 2018, Chicheng has started research and development of laminated U-profile glass for high-rise buildings, which use EVA interlayer to make the quality of U-profile glass much safer and stabler.
In 2019, Chicheng cooperated with Qinhuangdao Yongyu Glass Products Co., Ltd. to develop the international market. Through joint efforts of both sides, the Chicheng U-profile glass has been tested by Intertek Laboratory in the United States and TUV Laboratory in the Netherlands. Chicheng U-profile glass meets the requirements of the United States, Canada, and EU markets. Chicheng U-profile glass has passed SGCC certificate and meets the CE requirements.
In 2022, Chicheng with domestic relevant institutions to develop U-shaped glass online coating technology. After conducting numerous experiments and tests, the product met the standards for online coating, with the minimum K value reaching 1.35. The product was successfully applied to Shanghai University, Huzhou Trade Union Building, Beijing Disease Control Center, and other large public buildings.
In 2024, Chicheng will once again invest in the research and development of U-shaped glass wall energy systems (BIPV) and cadmium telluride wall power generation systems. The products will not only meet the functions of the building but also increase the corresponding energy supply, thereby reducing carbon emissions for the building!
